The largest public funded research organization in Spain. The “Instituto de Microelectrónica de Sevilla” (IMSE), a mixed center co-funded by CSIC and the University of Sevilla, is devoted to research in microchip design and applications, as well to extension to novel nanotechnology device applications. Research activities in IMSE include analog, digital and mixed-signal design, High resolution and High-Speed A/D Converters, Vision Systems, Neuromorphic Circuits and Systems, Address-Event-Representation (AER) retina sensing and convolution processing, Asynchronous or Self-timed Circuit Design, interface design for microsystems, test, and CAD tools.
